Responsibilities: Presentation outline and structure, slide design and animation
In early 2022, the new VP of Innovation at POLS reached out to my team for assistance in building a presentation for a session at the ASU+GSV 2022 Summit. After a discovery call with Lisa’s team to discuss her goals for the presentation and the main topics she wanted to cover, I collaborated with a writer on my team to come up with a rough outline and structure for the deck. We ultimately landed on a 3 part structure, and from there, and we continued to collaborate with Lisa’s team to further refine the slides’ content and presentation. When working to develop a high-level presentation like this, I often offer feedback about the content and structure, and try to help them strike a good balance between what is shown on the slide and what is only said aloud. I also work with the deck’s presenter(s) to ensure the pacing and phrasing fits them and their voice, to ensure they’re comfortable and confident when they go to present.
